Look Into Your Heart: There is Your Direction for LivingPsychology in Every Day Life

Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside dreams. Who looks inside awakens. —Carl Jung

When you are doing what comes most naturally to you in desire, imagination, talent and purpose, you feel and act differently. You are fully engaged in what you are doing, creative, and happy to be alive and in the moment. A special energy of being arises in you when you come from the heart that resists mental examination and the ruminations and self-doubt that come with it.

You can trust what comes from your heart. This instinctive source of your awareness knows what you should do to avoid danger, lets you sense others hurt and sorrow outside of any biases you may have of them, and connects you to inner knowledge that tells you what course of living  fits best with your true nature.

Your way back to the life you deserve is there. You just need to know what it feels like to come from the heart, so you can make it part of your everyday living. When you do, you will find your way once again and begin to build a life that fits the spirit of who you are. The new specifics of your life will be much closer to what expresses your true directions. So that when new challenges arise, in the future, you’ll be better prepared to deal with them.

The surest way to nurturing awareness from your heart is to stay present to its many advantages. During the most stressful times in my life, I have found that reflections on the wisdom of the heart are helpful to keeping me heart centered. I give them for you here in the hope that they will also work for you.

            Reflections On Heart Wisdom

  1. My heart knows what is good for me.
  2. What is heart-felt is genuine.
  3. Knowledge from the heart is real.

  6. When my heart and mind become one, I see clearly.

  8. My heart will show me the way.

  10. There is no instinct like that of the heart. It sets me free.
