The first step you need to take is the step of good faith. I am not speaking about passive hope for a better time to come to you. I’m talking about an active stance of being. You avow wholeheartedly that you will be able to endure what’s happening. You must declare with heart, mind and spirit that you will do what is needed to protect your enthusiasm for living despite what’s happening.
Perhaps, you are divorcing, for example, you may have to let go of resentment about what happened to you to endure successfully. Or, the industry that you worked in for many years is now extinct and you need to develop a new skill to continue on your life journey. Whatever your hard time is, only by declaring your power to endure will you take the needed actions to thrive.
I have had to endure many times in life. It has never easy. In fact, in my life, I have often said, what has luck got to do with it? But, I’m here to tell you that endurance showed me so many times that above everything else, I am committed to living a meaningful life that I had a hand in bringing about. I could have never learned what I have in life through books. The experience of enduring has been my greatest teacher.
